Alternator (2) & Cooling Blower13/64 (5)
(1) With light pressure applied to center of belt. Power steering pump belt tension is not adjustable. (2) If alternator belt is too loose, take one shim from between belt pulley and mount it in the front of the foremost (frontmost) half of the belt pulley. DO NOT alter the total number of shims (6). This procedure correctly increases belt tension.

THROTTLE VALVE SWITCHES

Vehicles with manual transmissions use a Closed Throttle Position (CTP) switch and a wide open (full) throttle switch. Vehicles with Tiptronic (automatic) transmission use a CTP switch and a throttle valve potentiometer. Potentiometer is used exclusively for transmission control.
