Accessory Power Socket: Removal & Installation Pontiac Vibe I рестайлинг

Removal Procedure

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to «Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure»(ref-200056-S05052159252005102000000) in Engine Electrical.
2. Using a flat bladed tool, disengage the 3 upper clips (1) and the 2 lower clips (4) on the accessory power receptacle bezel (3).
3. Disconnect the electrical connector.
4. Disengage the 2 clips (1) on the accessory power receptacle (2).
5. Remove the accessory power receptacle (2) from the bezel (3).

Installation Procedure

1. Install the accessory power receptacle (2) to the bezel (3), by pushing in until the tabs lock in.
2. Connect the electrical connector.
3. Gently install the accessory power receptacle trim bezel (3) by pressing into place until the upper tabs (1) and lower tabs (4) are fully seated.
4. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to «Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure»(ref-200056-S05052159252005102000000) in Engine Electrical.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to «Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure»(ref-200056-S05052159252005102000000) in Engine Electrical.
2. Using a flat bladed tool, disengage the 3 upper clips (1) and the 2 lower clips (4) on the accessory power receptacle switch bezel (3).
3. Disconnect the electrical connector.
4. Disengage the 2 clips (1) on the accessory power receptacle switch (2).
5. Remove the accessory power receptacle switch (5) from the bezel (3).

1. Install the accessory power receptacle switch (5) to the bezel (3), by pushing in until the tabs lock in.
2. Connect the electrical connector.
3. Gently install the accessory power receptacle switch bezel (3) by pressing into place until the upper tabs (1) and lower tabs (4) are fully seated.
4. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to «Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure»(ref-200056-S05052159252005102000000) in Engine Electrical.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to «Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure»(ref-200056-S05052159252005102000000) in Engine Electrical.
2. Move the drivers seat to the full rearward position.
3. Remove the 2 bolts (1).
4. Fold the floor carpet to the inside.
5. Disconnect the electrical connector (2).
6. Remove the accessory AC/DC power control module (3) from the vehicle.

1. Install the accessory AC/DC power control module (3) to the vehicle. Secure the module (3) with the 2 bolts (1). Tighten: Tighten the power control module bolts to 7.0 N.m (62 lb in).
2. Fold the floor carpet to the inside.
3. Connect the electrical connector (2).
4. Move the drivers seat to it's original position.
5. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to «Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure»(ref-200056-S05052159252005102000000) in Engine Electrical.

1. Remove the front floor console trim plate. Refer to «Trim Plate Replacement - Front Floor Console»(ref-200060-S06612301992005102000000) in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
2. Remove the cigar lighter rear retainer (1) from the cigar element housing (2).
3. Remove the cigar element (3).
4. Remove the cigar element housing (2) from the front floor console trim plate by turning counterclockwise 90 degrees and pushing on the back of the element housing (2).

1. Install the cigar lighter element housing (2) to the front floor console trim plate.
2. Install the cigar lighter housing rear retainer (1) to the cigar element housing (2).
3. Install the cigar lighter element (3) to the cigar lighter element housing (2).
4. Install the front floor console trim plate. Refer to «Trim Plate Replacement - Front Floor Console»(ref-200060-S06612301992005102000000) in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.

1. Remove the rear floor console. Refer to «Console Replacement - Rear Floor»(ref-200060-S06704105932005102000000) in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
2. Turn the socket in a counter clockwise direction.
3. Disengage the tab between the socket and cover.
4. Align the socket with the notch and remove socket assembly.

1. Align the socket with the notch on the cover, and push in to install.
2. Install the rear floor console. Refer to «Console Replacement - Rear Floor»(ref-200060-S06704105932005102000000) in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
