Door Window Adjustment
- Remove the door trim panel. Refer to «Door Trim Panel Replacement»(ref-267895-S13792864452007101700000) .
- Reconnect the window switch to the door harness.
- Raise the window.
- Disconnect the window switch from the harness.
- Pull back the water deflector as required.
- Mark the location of the clamps on the window.
- Loosen the window clamp bolts.
- Jiggle the window to break the window loose from the clamps rubber seals.
- Adjust the window using one of the following methods: Put a socket on the clamp bolt and use the socket to move the window. Adjust the window forward or reward first. Adjust the front height second. Adjust the rear height last. Sit in the vehicle with the door closed and with the aid of an assistant standing outside of the vehicle, position the window in the door opening. Adjust the window forward or reward first. Adjust the front height second. Adjust the rear height last.
- Slide the window in the window clamps as necessary. The gap to the reveal molding (1) should be 5-8 mm (0.2-0.3 in). The gap to the retainer (3) should be 5-8 mm (0.2-0.3 in).
- Tighten the window clamps. Tighten: Tighten the window regulator window clamp bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
- Perform minor height and minor tip-in adjustments as necessary. Refer to «Door Window Tip-In Adjustment»(ref-267907-S25932212502007101700000) and «Door Window Major Height Adjustment»(ref-267907-S21684791062007101700000) .
- Reposition the water deflector.
- Install the door trim panel. Refer to «Door Trim Panel Replacement»(ref-267895-S13792864452007101700000) .
Door Window Major Height Adjustment

- Remove the door trim panel. Refer to «Door Trim Panel Replacement»(ref-267895-S13792864452007101700000) .
- Reconnect the window switch to the harness.
- Position the window to the full up position.
- Disconnect the window switch from the harness.
- Loosen the window clamps.
- Close the door.
- With the aid of an assistant standing outside of the vehicle, position the window to the door opening.
- From the inside of the vehicle tighten the window clamps.
- Perform minor height and minor tip-in adjustments as necessary. Refer to «Door Window Tip-In Adjustment»(ref-267907-S25932212502007101700000) and «Door Window Major Height Adjustment»(ref-267907-S21684791062007101700000) .
- Install the door trim panel. Refer to «Door Trim Panel Replacement»(ref-267895-S13792864452007101700000) .
Door Window Tip-In Adjustment
Tools Required
#6 Inverted TORX® Socket
- Remove the door trim panel. Refer to «Door Trim Panel Replacement»(ref-267895-S13792864452007101700000) .
- Pull back the water deflector as required.
- Position the window fully up.
- Remove the large access plug from under the front of the door.
- Loosen the window regulator (1) front channel mounting nut.
- Loosen the jack screw jamb nut (2).
- Adjust tip in with the jack screw: Turn the jack screw clockwise to tip the window outward. Turn the jack screw counterclockwise to tip the window inward. One turn of the screw equals approximately 1 N.m (0.04 in) change at the top of the window.
- Tighten the jack screw jamb nut.
- Lower the window.
- Tighten the window regulator channel front mounting nut.
- Raise the window and inspect the alignment.
- Install the access plug under the front of the door.
- Reposition the water deflector.
- Install the door trim panel. Refer to «Door Trim Panel Replacement»(ref-267895-S13792864452007101700000) .
