How to Replace the Steering Wheel Opel Vivaro A

Remove

1. 1. Disconnect battery negative lead
2. 2. Remove airbag from steering wheel • Release clip – Use suitable tool, then slide off • Disconnect harness connector (1)

3. 3. Immobilise steering wheel in centre position
4. 4. Remove steering wheel • Disconnect harness connector (1) for cruise control (if installed) • Disconnect harness connector (2) from harness connector for horn switch • Remove bolt (3) • Feed 2x harness through aperture in steering wheel

5. 5. Remove 2x cruise control switch (if installed) from steering wheel • Remove 4x screw • Release harness from steering wheel

Install

6. 6. Install 2x cruise control switch (if installed) to new steering wheel • Install 4x screw • Secure harness to steering wheel
7. 7. Install steering wheel • Feed 2x harness through aperture in steering wheel • Connect harness connector (1) for cruise control (if installed) • Connect harness connector (2) to harness connector for horn switch • Install new bolt (3) 44 Nm

8. 8. Install airbag to steering wheel • Connect harness connector (1) • Push on to secure clip

9. 9. Connect battery negative lead
10. 10. Program all volatile memories
