How to Replace (Vehicles Without ESP) the Steering Angle Sensor Opel Vectra C

Steering Gear 2 illustrations

Remove

  1. 1. Detach wiring harness plug (1) • release and disconnect
  2. 2. Remove steering angle sensor (2) • Unscrew 2x bolt (3) • Pull steering angle sensor out of steering gear housing

Install

  1. 3. Clean sealing surface
  2. 4. Insert steering angle sensor (2) into transmission housing • Ensure gasket (arrow) is seated correctly

Note. Note installation position!

  1. 5. Tighten 2x bolts (3) 6 Nm
  2. 6. Connect wiring harness plug (1)
