Function Check
After all operations on the brake system which did not involve ABS aggregates, a simple functional test is sufficient, i.e. after starting the engine, the ABS warning light in the instrument panel must go out. Such operations include, e.g. replacing brake linings, pressure hoses, discs, servo, tandem brake master cylinder or brake lines.
Important
The tandem brake master cylinder on vehicles with OPEL/VAUXHALL ABS cannot be repaired. It can only be replaced as a complete unit.
