Control Unit Programming
Previously, if the engine control unit software was altered, the engine control unit or an EPROM had to be replaced.
Using the flash storage technology, it is possible to transfer the new software into the engine control unit using TECH 1A. The dealer receives the control unit software on the TECH 15 CD - ROM.
Control unit programming is to a large extent guided by menus. The exact procedure will be described in a separate publication.
