Replace Tailgate Locking Cylinder Opel Meriva A

1. Undo tailgate frame inner panelling • Undo 2x covering caps • Unscrew 2x screws
2. Remove tailgate inner panelling • Unscrew 4x screws • Unclip 12x clips
3. Remove housing with tailgate locking cylinder • Unclip tailgate lock connecting rod • Unscrew 2x nuts • Release and remove central locking actuator motor wiring harness plug
4. Remove central locking actuator motor • Unclip wiring harness plug from housing • Remove operating rod – Unclip retaining clamp – Remove rubber stop • Unscrew 2x screws • Unclip central locking actuator motor

Note. Twist actuator motor approx. 180° downwards when withdrawing the operating rod

5. Fit central locking actuator motor • Clip central locking actuator motor into position • Tighten 2x nuts • Clip rubber stop and retaining clamp into position • Clip wiring harness plug into position

Note. Turn servo motor when inserting actuating rod by around 180°

6. Install tailgate locking cylinder housing • Attach and lock central locking actuator motor wiring harness plug • Tighten 2x screws • Clip tailgate lock connecting rod into position
7. Fit tailgate inner panelling • Clip 12x clips into position • Tighten 4x screws

Note. Note guide pin positions.

8. Attach tailgate frame inner panelling • Tighten 2x screws • Clip 2x covering caps into position
