Body Control Multitimer and Central Locking Opel Meriva A

Central Electrics ~193 words

This module contains all the Body Control multitimer functions and the central locking controller. The central locking function is essentially the same as that of the Astra-G.

The radio remote control is integrated in the key fob. The antenna is integrated in the Body Control Module.

Comfort Closing

When the vehicle is locked the electric sun roof and the power windows close automatically.

The "comfort closing" function can only be operated via the driver's door lock cylinder.

Operation: hold key in driver's door lock cylinder in locking position. When the key is turned to the neutral position again, the "comfort closing" function stops.

Automatic Locking

This function becomes active when the driver's door has been opened, then closed, the key is not in the ignition and the central locking has been locked again.

If the central locking is opened due to unintentional operation of the remote control such as in a jacket pocket, the central locking locks again automatically after approximately 30 seconds.

If the anti-theft device and the anti-theft alarm system were active, these are also reactivated again a short time after unintentional remote control activation.
