The Opel GT is equipped with a standard laminated windscreen that is retained by means of urethane adhesive.
The driver and passenger doors are equipped with electrically operated windows and electrically operated external rear view mirrors as standard. The controls for these features are located in the driver's door.
The driver's door window has an automatic lowering feature. The lowering switch has two lowering positions; the first position is used for incremental lowering, but the window will open completely when the switch is pressed fully.
The passenger door is equipped with a dedicated switch for window control.

The external rear view mirrors can be folded back from their normal mounting position, as with existing Opel passenger vehicles, for pedestrian safety and for parking in confined spaces.
The interior rear view mirror is equipped with anti-dazzle control as standard and houses courtesy lights, which are described in “Lighting Systems” .
The heated rear window is an integral part of the soft top and is automatically positioned when the soft top is raised. The heating grid is activated by means of a pushbutton switch which is described in “Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning” . A telltale informs the driver when the heater grid is switched on; the heater is automatically switched off after 15 minutes as a safety precaution.
