The Corsa-D is the first vehicle to be fitted with a heated steering wheel as optional equipment.
Integral heating mats in the grip area (1) heat up the steering wheel to approx. 30 °C.
Even in very low outside temperatures, this means that the steering wheel can be heated up, and consequently the driver's hands can be warmed, within 1 minute.
The steering wheel heater is activated and deactivated from the switch panel in the instrument panel padding.
