Warning: If deformations are found at the bulkhead/crossmember or contact with the steering column assembly or EPS steering column, the steering column assembly or EPS steering column must be checked for damage.
Remove
- 1. Remove steering column assembly
- 2. Check shear plates (1) for correct seating
Note. If the shear plate is loose or displaced, the steering column assembly or the EPS steering column must be replaced.
Install
- 3. Install EPS steering column
