| Complaint: | Loss of power, noise from turbocharger and/or oil leakage at turbocharger caused by damaged turboshaft bearings . |

Remedy:
In case of customer complaint replace turbocharger and install cooling hose kit.
Working procedure:
1. Drain coolant (Picture I).
- open drain bolt (1) at radiator - collect coolant - close drain bolt
2. Replace all cooling lines and cooling hoses.
Note: For replacement of the cooling lines and cooling hoses the turbo- charger has to be removed.

3. Attach upper cooling hose to cooling line (Picture III).
- use 2x cable strap (arrows)
4. Refill coolant
- see working procedure "Coolant System Charge and Bleed", group "J", of the corresponding Service Instruction.

Please note: Turbocharger repair kit fits only to turbocharger with P/N 55 559 848 / Cat.No. 5849040. (Need to be installed for vehicles prior MY 2006)

The costs for this repair will be covered during the normal warranty. The regular warranty procedure should be used for claiming Set-up-time.
