The rear electronics centre (Rear Electrical Centre, REC) is a central module and is located in the luggage compartment at the left side behind the side panelling. The same module is installed in the Astra-H Convertible as in the 5 or 3 door version. It includes a fuse and relay box plus a control unit which communicates with other bus subscribers via the LS CAN bus. The occupancy changes in that the previously unused position now contains the fuse FR34, which is the fuse for the power supply to the electronics for the steel folding roof in the Astra-H-Convertible.
Installation Position of the Rear Electronics Centre
• Service: When making a replacement, the rear electronics centre is supplied with the fuses and relays for the basic version. Fuses are contained in the scope of delivery to upgrade the rear electronics centre to the respective design version.
