Replace Airbag Sensor (Upper Front) - Driver's Side Opel Astra H

Remove

  1. 1. Disconnect battery • Detach plus and earth poles
  2. 2. Wait 1 minute for airbag to deactivate
  3. 3. Remove battery • Unscrew bolt
  4. 4. Remove airbag sensor • Unscrew 2x bolt (1) • Separate wiring harness plug and remove sensor

Install

  1. 5. Install airbag sensor • Insert sensor and connect wiring harness plug • Tighten 2x bolt 6 Nm
  2. 6. Install battery • Attach plus and earth poles
  3. 7. Connect battery • Tighten the bolt
  4. 8. Perform readiness check
  5. 9. Program volatile memories
