Remove
- 1. Apply parking brake lever
- 2. Release wheel from vehicle, right side • Remove wheel trim cover – Pull off • Release 4x wheel bolt
- 3. Raise vehicle to suitable working height
- 4. Remove wheel from vehicle, right side • Remove 4x wheel bolt
- 5. Raise vehicle
- 6. Remove splash panel from vehicle • Remove 2x bolt (1), 4x clip (2)
- 7. Lower vehicle to suitable working height
- 8. Release front wheel housing protective panelling (1) from front panelling, right side • Remove 3x clip using suitable tool, then move protective panelling to one side
- 9. Place collecting container below
- 10. Remove washer pump (3, 4) from washer fluid reservoir (1) 3 – Windshield washer pump 4 – Tailgate washer pump • Disconnect harness connector (2) • Release washer hose (5) from washer pump and washer fluid reservoir – Pull off • Pull out washer pump from washer fluid reservoir and allow water solution to drain
- 11. Remove seal for washer pump from washer fluid reservoir • Prise out
Install
- 12. Install new seal for washer pump to washer fluid reservoir • Apply suitable lubricant to seal • Push in
- 13. Install new washer pump (3,4) to washer fluid reservoir (1) 3 – Windshield washer pump 4 – Tailgate washer pump • Push washer pump into washer fluid reservoir • Secure washer hose (5) to washer pump and washer fluid reservoir – Push on • Connect harness connector (2)
- 14. Remove collecting container
- 15. Secure front wheel housing protective panelling (1) to front panelling, right side • Position protective panelling as necessary, then install 3x clip
- 16. Raise vehicle
- 17. Install splash panel to vehicle • Install 4x clip (2), 2x bolt (1)
- 18. Lower vehicle to suitable working height
- 19. Install wheel to vehicle, right side • Grease centring seat of wheel hub • Install 4x wheel bolt
- 20. Lower vehicle
- 21. Secure wheel to vehicle, right side • Install wheel trim cover – Push on • Secure 4x wheel bolt 85 Nm
- 22. Refill fluid reservoir
