Compressor to Condenser Pipe Assembly Replacement Opel Agila B

Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning ~397 words

Remove

  1. 1. Drain air conditioning system – see operation ”Refrigerant Drain and Refill”
  2. 2. Raise vehicle
  3. 3. Release 2x front wheel house protective panelling from front panelling • Remove 4x clip (1)
  1. 4. Release front panelling from lower front body panel • Remove 3x bolt (1)
  1. 5. Lower vehicle
  2. 6. Release front panelling from 2x front wing • Remove 2x screw (1)
  3. 7. Release front panelling from upper front body panel • Remove 2x clip (3), 4x bolt (2)
  1. 8. Remove front panelling from vehicle • Release front panelling from 2x side bracket (1) – Pull off • Disconnect 2x harness connector from 2x front fog lamp (if installed)

Note. 2x technician are required.

  1. 9. Remove horn (1) from upper front body panel • Disconnect harness connector (2) • Remove bolt
  1. 10. Remove front air deflector panel from vehicle • Release harness from clip (2) • Remove 4x clip (1)
  1. 11. Disconnect refrigerant pipe assembly from condenser • Remove bolt (1) • Remove O ring • Install 2x new blanking plug
  1. 12. Remove refrigerant pipe assembly from compressor • Remove bolt (1) • Remove O ring • Install 2x new blanking plug

Install

  1. 13. Install new refrigerant pipe assembly to compressor • Remove 2x blanking plug • Install O ring – Apply suitable lubricant • Install bolt 11 Nm
  1. 14. Connect refrigerant pipe assembly to condenser • Remove 2x blanking plug • Install O ring – Apply suitable lubricant • Install bolt (1) 11 Nm
  1. 15. Install front air deflector panel to vehicle • Install 4x clip (1) • Secure harness to clip (2)
  1. 16. Install horn (1) to upper front body panel • Install bolt • Connect harness connector (2)
  1. 17. Install front panelling to vehicle • Connect 2x harness connector to 2x front fog lamp (if installed) • Secure front panelling to 2x side bracket (1) – Push on

Note. 2x technician are required.

  1. 18. Secure front panelling to upper front body panel • Install 4x bolt (2), 2x clip (3)
  2. 19. Secure front panelling to 2x front wing • Install 2x screw (1)
  1. 20. Raise vehicle
  2. 21. Secure front panelling to lower front body panel • Install 3x bolt (1)
  1. 22. Secure 2x protective panelling to front panelling • Install 4x clip (1)
  1. 23. Lower vehicle
  2. 24. Refill air conditioning system – see operation ”Refrigerant Drain and Refill”
