Remove

  1. 1. Disconnect battery negative lead • Release nut
  2. 2. Remove lower trim panel (1) from instrument panel • Release 10x clip
  3. 3. Disconnect 6x harness connector (4) from junction block
  4. 4. Disconnect 3x harness connector (3) from body control module (BCM)
  5. 5. Release BCM and junction block assembly (5) from vehicle • Remove 2x nut (2)
  1. 6. Remove BCM and junction block assembly from vehicle • Disconnect 7x harness connector (2) from junction block • Release 3x harness connector (1) from junction block – Release 3x clip

Install

  1. 7. Locate new BCM and junction block assembly to vehicle • Secure 3x harness connector (1) to junction block – Secure 3x clip • Connect 7x harness connector (2) to junction block
  1. 8. Secure BCM and junction block assembly (5) to vehicle • Install 2x nut (2)
  2. 9. Connect 3x harness connector (3) to BCM
  3. 10. Connect 6x harness connector (4) to junction block
  4. 11. Install lower trim (1) to instrument panel • Secure 10x clip
  1. 12. Connect battery negative lead • Secure nut 11 Nm
  2. 13. Program (BCM) Body Control Module • Connect Tech 2 to diagnostic socket • Select F0: DIAGNOSTICS • Select corresponding vehicle identification • Select F4: Body • Select BCM Body Control Module • Turn "ON" Ignition and press Confirm • Select F0: Diagnostic Trouble Codes • Select F2: Clear DTC Information • Follow menu guide in Tech 2 to end of program
  3. 14. Turn off Tech 2, then remove from vehicle • Disconnect Tech 2 from diagnostic socket
  4. 15. Program key transmitter code – see operation “Program Key Transmitter Code”
  5. 16. Program all volatile memories – see operation “Program Volatile Memories”
