Torque Values and/or Fastener Tightening Strategies

The torque angle specification has changed for the cylinder head bolts. Refer to Fastener Tightening Specifications , Cylinder Head Installation - Left and Cylinder Head Installation - Right .

The redesigned lower primary camshaft drive chain guide is retained to the block with shouldered bolts.

Changed Engine Specifications

The engine specifications for engine unit repair have not changed for 2002.
