Removal (Right): Overview Oldsmobile Aurora I

Mechanical

Disconnect Battery. Remove intake manifold cover. Remove vacuum reservoir. Disconnect cruise control servo and set aside. Disconnect Distributorless Ignition System (DIS) wiring connectors (4) and mounting bolts (4).
Remove DIS and right bank spark plug wires. Disconnect PCV valve. Raise and support vehicle. Disconnect Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS), power steering pressure switch. Lower vehicle. Remove wiring harness connectors, bolts and camshaft covers. Discard cover seal if there is evidence of damage or if seal comes out of groove in cover during removal. Spark plug seals may be reused if undamaged.
