BCMSupplies power to power window switches. Controls retained power.
Main power window and door lock/unlock switchDirectly controls power window motor of all doors.
Power window and door lock/unlock switch RHControls front power window motor RH.
Rear power window switchControls rear power window motors LH and RH.
Front power window motor LHStarts operating with signals from main power window and door lock/unlock switch.
Front power window motor RHStarts operating with signals from main power window and door lock/unlock switch & power window switch RH.
Rear power window motorStarts operating with signals from main power window and door lock/unlock switch & rear power window switch.
Front door switch LH or RHDetects door open/close condition and transmits to the BCM.

BASIC OPERATION

  1. Power window system is activated by power window switch when ignition switch turns ON.
  2. Power window main switch opens/closes all door glass.
  3. Front and rear power window switch opens/closes the corresponding door glass.
  4. AUTO DOWN operation can be performed when power window main switch is depressed to the second detent.
  5. Power window lock switch can lock all power windows other than driver seat.

POWER WINDOW AUTO-OPERATION (FRONT DRIVER SIDE)

AUTO DOWN operation can be performed when power window main switch is depressed to the second detent.

RETAINED POWER OPERATION

  1. Retained power operation is an additional power supply function that enables power window system to operate for an additional 45 seconds after the ignition switch is turned OFF.
