  1. CHECK FUNCTION With CONSULT-III Check door switches ("DOOR SW-DR", "DOOR SW-AS", "DOOR SW-RL", "DOOR SW-RR", "BACK DOOR SW") in "Data Monitor" mode with CONSULT-III. MONITOR ITEM CONDITION CHART Monitor item Door condition Display DOOR SW-DR CLOSE --> OPEN OFF --> ON DOOR SW-AS DOOR SW-RL DOOR SW-RR BACK DOOR Is the inspection result normal? YES: Door switch is OK. NO: Refer to " «DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE»(ref-295136-S16078460142008081400000) ".

  1. CHECK DOOR SWITCH INPUT SIGNAL Turn ignition switch OFF. Disconnect door switch connectors. Check signal between door switch harness connector and ground with oscilloscope. VOLTAGE SPECIFICATION CHART Door switch Voltage (V) (Approx.) (+) (-) connector Terminal Front door switch (passenger side) B27 2 Ground Front door switch (driver side) B34 2 Rear door switch RH B53 2 Rear door switch LH B71 2 Back door lock assembly (back door switch) D190 3 Is the inspection result normal? YES: Back door switch : GO TO 3 . Door switch : GO TO 4 . NO: GO TO 2.
  2. CHECK DOOR SWITCH CIRCUIT Disconnect BCM connectors. Check continuity between BCM harness connector and door switch harness connector. CONTINUITY REFERENCE CHART BCM Door switch Continuity connector Terminal connector Terminal M65 12 B27 2 Exists 13 B53 M66 43 D190 3 47 B34 2 48 B71 Check continuity between BCM harness connector and ground. CONTINUITY REFERENCE CHART BCM connector Terminal Ground Continuity M65 12 Does not exist 13 M66 43 47 48 Is the inspection result normal? YES: Replace BCM. Refer to " «EXPLODED VIEW»(ref-295115-S18587957682008081400000) ". NO: Repair or replace harness.
  3. CHECK BACK DOOR GROUND CIRCUIT Check continuity between back door lock assembly harness connector and ground. CONTINUITY REFERENCE CHART Back door lock assembly Ground Continuity connector Terminal D190 4 Exist Is the inspection result normal? YES: GO TO 4. NO: Repair or replace harness.
  4. CHECK DOOR SWITCH Check door switch. Refer to " «COMPONENT INSPECTION»(ref-295136-S25835788472008081400000) ". Is the inspection result normal? YES: GO TO 5. NO: Replace door switch. Refer to " «REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION»(ref-295116-S08710407492008081400000) ".
  5. CHECK INTERMITTENT INCIDENT Refer to " «INTERMITTENT INCIDENT»(ref-295085-S23576844552008081400000) ". INSPECTION END
  1. CHECK KEY SWITCH INPUT SIGNAL Check key switch ("KEY ON SW") in "Data Monitor" mode with CONSULT-III. Refer to " «DOOR LOCK : CONSULT-III FUNCTION (BCM - DOOR LOCK)»(ref-295116-S13582400902008081400000) ". MONITOR ITEM CONDITION CHART Monitor item Condition KEY ON SW Insert mechanical key into key cylinder : ON Remove mechanical key from key cylinder : OFF Is the inspection result normal? YES: Key switch is OK. NO: Refer to " «DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE»(ref-295136-S23405902602008081400000) ".
  1. CHECK IGNITION KNOB SWITCH INPUT SIGNAL Check ignition knob switch ("PUSH SW") in "Data Monitor" mode with CONSULT-III. MONITOR ITEM CONDITION CHART Monitor item Condition PUSH SW Ignition knob switch is pressed : ON Ignition knob switch is released : OFF Is the inspection result normal? YES: Ignition knob switch is OK. NO: Refer to " «DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE»(ref-295136-S17926645922008081400000) ".
  1. CHECK FUNCTION Select "HOOD SW" in "Data Monitor" mode with CONSULT-III. Check the hood switch signal under the following condition. DATA MONITOR Test item Condition Status HOOD SW Hood Open ON Close OFF Is the indication normal? YES: INSPECTION END NO: Refer to " «DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE»(ref-295136-S39100628912008081400000) ".
