BEFORE REPLACEMENT
When replacing BCM, save or print current vehicle specification with CONSULT configuration before replacement.
Note. If "Before Replace ECU" cannot be used, use the "After Replace ECU" or "Manual Configuration" after replacing BCM.
AFTER REPLACEMENT
| CAUTION | When replacing BCM, you must perform "After Replace ECU" with CONSULT. Complete the procedure of "After Replace ECU" in order. If you set incorrect "After Replace ECU", incidents might occur. Configuration is different for each vehicle model. Confirm configuration of each vehicle model. When replacing BCM, perform the system initialization (NATS). |
INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
Note. If NATS antenna amp. is not installed correctly, NVIS (NATS) system will not operate properly and "SELF-DIAG RESULTS" on CONSULT screen will show "LOCK MODE" or "CHAIN OF IMMU-KEY". Initialization is not necessary when only the NATS antenna amp. is replaced with a new one.
Scheme 144
- Remove NATS antenna amp. Refer to " «REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION»(ref-675594-S32671166052014120500000) ".
- Release pawls and remove the push-button ignition switch (1).
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
Scheme 145
- Remove the glove box. Refer to " «REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION»(ref-675607-S26065202062014120500000) ".
- Disconnect the harness connector (A) from remote keyless entry receiver (1).
- Remove screw (B) and remove remote keyless entry receiver.
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
