AUTO OPERATION

The power window "AUTO" feature enables the driver to open or close the driver's and passenger's side windows without holding the window switch in the down or up position. The "AUTO" feature only operates on the driver's and passenger's side windows.
RETAINED POWER OPERATION (WITH POWER DOOR LOCKS)

When the ignition switch is turned to "OFF" position from "ON" or "START" position, power is supplied for 45 seconds to power window relay terminal No. 2, from SECU terminal No. 46.
Ground is supplied to power window relay terminal No. 1, through body grounds M9 (located behind left side of dash), M25 (located above the fuse block) and M87, located behind right side of dash.
When power and ground are supplied, the power window relay continues to be energized, and the power window can be operated.
The retained power operation is cancelled when the driver or passenger side door is opened.
POWER WINDOW OPENED/CLOSED OPERATION WITH KEY CYLINDER

When ignition key switch is "OFF", front power window can be opened or closed by turning the left front door key cylinder to "UNLOCK/LOCK" position. Power window can be opened as the door key cylinder is kept fully turned to the "UNLOCK" position. Power window can be closed as the door key cylinder is kept fully turned to the "LOCK" position.
The power window opening stops while performing open/close of the window, power window is stopped at the position that the door key cylinder is placed on Neutral. When the ignition switch is turned "ON" while the power window opening is operated.
