Ventilation System (Sedan): Removal & Installation Nissan Altima L33

INSTALLATION

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

CAUTIONWhen installing, handle the filter with extreme care to avoid deforming or damaging the filter. If the filter is deformed/damaged when removing, replace it with a new one. A deformed or damaged filter may affect the dust collecting performance.

  1. Remove the instrument panel assembly. Refer to " «REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION»(ref-576024-S27531830172013090900000) ".
  2. Remove the center ventilator duct screws (A).
  3. Remove the center ventilator duct.

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

  1. Remove the center ventilator duct. Refer to " «CENTER VENTILATOR DUCT: REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION»(ref-576019-S23789275542013090900000) ".
  2. Remove the side defroster duct screw (A).
  3. Remove the side defroster duct (2) from the side defroster grille (1).

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

REMOVAL

  1. Partially remove the front of the floor trim. Refer to " «REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION»(ref-576023-S02104628512013090900000) ".
  2. Release the front floor duct clip.
  3. Remove the front floor duct.

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

  1. Remove the instrument lower panel LH (LH side). Refer to " «REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION»(ref-576024-S27742912012013090900000) ".
  2. Remove the center console side finisher. Refer to " «EXPLODED VIEW»(ref-576024-S04655751322013090900000) ".
  3. Remove the front floor connecting duct.

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

  1. Remove the front floor duct. Refer to " «FRONT FLOOR DUCT: REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION - FRONT FLOOR DUCT»(ref-576019-S02022764242013090900000) ".
  2. Remove the front floor duct nozzle from the front floor duct.

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

  1. Remove the center console assembly. Refer to " «REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION»(ref-576024-S05958975692013090900000) ".
  2. Release the adaptor duct clip.
  3. Remove the adaptor duct.

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

  1. Remove the center console assembly. Refer to " «REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION»(ref-576024-S05958975692013090900000) ".
  2. Release the adaptor extension duct clips.
  3. Remove the adaptor extension duct (1). (2): Rear center ventilator duct

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

  1. Remove the center console rear finisher. Refer to " «EXPLODED VIEW»(ref-576024-S04655751322013090900000) ".
  2. Remove the rear center ventilator duct (2). (1): Adaptor extension duct

  1. Remove cluster lid C. Refer to " «CLUSTER LID C»(ref-576024-S01073038362013090900000) ".
  2. Release the center ventilator grille pawls using a suitable tool.
  3. Remove the center ventilator grille.

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

  1. Remove the instrument pad LH (LH side). Refer to " «EXPLODED VIEW»(ref-576024-S39616523682013090900000) ".
  2. Remove the glove box assembly (RH side). Refer to " «REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION»(ref-576024-S18477795182013090900000) ".
  3. Release the pawls (A) using a suitable tool, then remove the side ventilator grille.

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

  1. Remove the side defroster duct. Refer to " «SIDE DEFROSTER DUCT: REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION»(ref-576019-S41773438772013090900000) ".
  2. Remove the side defroster grille screws (A).
  3. Remove the side defroster grille.

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

  1. Remove the center console rear finisher. Refer to " «EXPLODED VIEW»(ref-576024-S04655751322013090900000) ".
  2. Release the rear center ventilator grille pawls using a suitable tool.
  3. Remove the rear center ventilator grille.

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

  1. Remove the heating and cooling unit assembly. Refer to " «HEATING AND COOLING UNIT ASSEMBLY: REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION»(ref-576020-S04152980012013090900000) ".
  2. Disconnect the harness connector (B) from the blower motor.
  3. Remove the screws from the blower unit, then remove the blower unit from the heating and cooling unit assembly.
  4. Remove the three blower motor screws (A), then remove the blower motor from the blower unit (if necessary).

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

  1. Remove the glove box assembly. Refer to " «REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION»(ref-576024-S18477795182013090900000) ".
  2. Disconnect the harness connector from the blower motor.
  3. Remove the blower motor screws (A), and the blower motor from the blower unit. NOTE: Do not disassemble the blower motor to replace individual components, replace as an assembly.
