REMOVAL
| WARNING | Be careful not to get burned when engine and engine oil may be hot. |
- Remove undercover with power tool.
- Using oil filter wrench [SST], remove oil filter.

- Remove foreign materials adhering to oil filter installation surface.
- Apply engine oil to the oil seal contact surface of new oil filter. (Scheme 7): Applying Engine Oil To Oil Filter Seal
- Screw oil filter manually until it touches the installation surface, then tighten it by 2/3 turn. Or tighten to specification. Oil filter:: 17.7 N.m (1.8 kg-m, 13 ft-lb) (Scheme 8): Identifying Oil Filter Tightening Position
INSTALLATION
Installation is the reverse order of removal.

19.6 N.m (2.0 kg-m, 14 ft-lb)
- Remove inner and outer balance weights from the road wheel. CAUTION: Be careful not to scratch the road wheel during removal.
- Using releasing agent, remove double-faced adhesive tape from the road wheel. CAUTION: Be careful not to scratch the road wheel during removal. After removing double-faced adhesive tape, wipe clean traces of releasing agent from the road wheel.
