CONDENSER FAN MOTOR
Remove the condenser fan motor connector. Connect battery voltage to terminal No. 2 and ground terminal No. 1 and see if condenser fan operates. (Scheme 20) Also check that there is not abnormal sounds coming from the condenser fan motor. If condenser fan motor is defective, replace it.

FAN CONTROLLER
- Remove the fan controller connector. (Scheme 21)
- Turn the ignition switch to the ON position. Check for battery voltage between terminals No. 1 and 3. (Scheme 21)
- Reconnect the fan controller connector and disconnect the condenser fan motor connector. (Scheme 22)
- Ensure the A/C switch is off, and start the engine and rub at idle.
- Measure voltage between the fan controller (side connector) terminals. Voltage should be 1V or less.
- Turn the A/C switch to the ON position.
- Measure the voltage between the fan controller (side connector) terminals while the fan is running. The voltage should switch between 5.6-10.8V and battery voltage.
- If the voltage does not switch as indicated, replace the fan controller.

RADIATOR FAN MOTOR
Remove the radiator fan motor connector. Connect battery voltage to terminal No. 1 and ground terminal No. 2 and see if radiator fan operates. (Scheme 25) Also check that there are not abnormal sounds coming from the radiator fan motor. If radiator fan motor is defective, replace it.
