Maintenance Information: Specifications Mercury Villager I

WHEEL TIGHTENING

All wheels are tightened to 72-87 ft. lbs. (98-118 N.m). If wheels are equipped with locking type lug nuts ALWAYS position the keyed nut opposite the valve stem.

CAUTIONDO NOT use a power impact wrench on a lug nut key. Ensure key is held square to the nut. If key is on an angle, damage to the key and anti-theft lug nut may occur.

BATTERY SPECIFICATIONS

CAUTIONWhen battery is disconnected, vehicles equipped with computers may lose memory data. When battery power is restored, driveability problems may exist on some vehicles. These vehicles may require a relearn procedure. See the appropriate COMPUTER RELEARN PROCEDURES article in the GENERAL INFORMATION section.

Vehicle is equipped with a 60 amp. maintenance-free battery. Replacement battery should be of the same amperage and group as the original.
