CASTER & CAMBER ADJUSTMENT
Note. Caster and camber are set at the factory and can not be adjusted. DO NOT attempt to adjust alignment by bending suspension or steering components.
Front Wheels
- Start engine (power steering only). Move steering wheel back and forth several times to position wheel in center. Lock steering wheel in place using steering wheel holder.
- Turn off engine. Loosen and slide off small outer clamp from steering gear rubber boot before starting toe-in adjustment to prevent boot from twisting.
- Adjust left and right tie rods until each wheel has 1/2 of the desired total toe specification. Tighten jam nut. Attach boot clamp after toe-in adjustment and ensure boot on tie rod is not twisted.

Rear Wheels
Note. The rear toe and camber angles are factory set and should not require adjustment except for accident or component replacement. If the width of one rear over- lapping tire track is more than 1 1/2" wider than one front track, adjust to correct rear toe or "Dog Tracking". "Dog Tracking" is when vehicle rear wheels DO NOT follow front wheels and vehicle does not travel squarely down the road.
- Back vehicle straight onto alignment rack. Check front wheels for straightness by sighting along tire and body. Attach alignment heads to rear wheels and adjust for wheel runout as necessary. Lower rear end of vehicle and jounce to settle suspension.
- Check total rear toe. Total rear toe is the sum of left and right toe. With vehicle backed on to rack, toe-in and toe-out are reversed. Set each rear wheel the same amount to prevent dog tracking. Sight along outer side walls of rear tires, along horizontal centerline of wheel.
- Observe where line intersects on front tire. Measure sighted line by placing ruler at bottom of front tires using same treads on each front tire. Difference between left and right measurement at front tires should not exceed 1". If not to specification, adjust rear toe.
- To adjust, scribe vertical mark on tie rod front bracket at bolt head centerline for adjustment reference. Loosen tie rod-to-body bolt and slide tie rod in slot. Sliding tie rod forward increases toe-in and backward increases toe-out. After adjustment, tighten clamp bolts to specification.
