Note. The antenna cable is integral to the wiring harness and is not serviceable. For routing information, Refer to SYSTEM WIRING DIAGRAMS (Freestar) or SYSTEM WIRING DIAGRAMS (Monterey).
Note. The antenna is a conductive trace integral to the right rear quarter window glass and can be repaired, but not installed separately. For removal and installation of the rear quarter window glass, refer to GLASS, FRAMES AND MECHANISMS . For repair procedures, refer to "Window Grid Wire Repair" in GLASS, FRAMES AND MECHANISMS .
The antenna system contains an antenna amplifier module that helps reduce interference when using the AM/FM bands.
