DESCRIPTION & OPERATION
Power mirror system consist of combination control module, electronic seat adjustment control module, adjustment switch, driver's and passenger's side mirror assemblies and related wiring. Driver's and passenger's side mirror assemblies consist of horizontal and vertical adjustment motors, position potentiometers and heating elements.
Power mirror system is also tied into the 3 memory settings. These memory settings control steering column adjustment, driver's seat adjustment as well as both mirror adjustment. After programing memory setting, press and hold desired program button until steering wheel, driver's seat and both side mirrors adjustments have stopped.
Power mirror system is operated by adjustment switch, located on center console. Adjustment switch controls both driver's and passenger's mirrors in 4 directions. To operate mirrors, select which mirror is to be adjusted by rotating knob toward mirror to be adjusted. Then push knob in direction that mirror is to be moved. Power mirror system also has an automatic mirror heating function that will operate when temperature is lower than 59°F (15°C).
