Installation

Note. The roof opening panel should be in the closed position.

Scheme 1

1. Connect the roof opening panel motor electrical connector.
2. Install the roof opening panel motor. Position the roof opening panel motor. Install the bolts.
3. Check for correct operation of the roof opening panel motor.
4. Install the headliner. See «HEADLINER»(ref-221990-S25320297652006022600000) .

1. Remove the headliner. See «HEADLINER»(ref-221990-S25320297652006022600000) .
2. Disconnect the in-line electrical connector.
3. Disconnect the four roof opening panel drain hoses.
4. Release the wire harness locators.
5. Remove the roof opening panel frame. Remove the eight roof opening panel frame bolts. Remove the roof opening panel frame.
6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

1. Remove the instrument panel. See «INSTRUMENT PANEL»(ref-221990-S30951310432006022600000) . All
2. Remove the headliner. See «HEADLINER»(ref-221990-S25320297652006022600000) . NOTE: The drain hose body attachment can be accessed from under the instrument panel.
3. Remove the drain hose. Release the hose from its locators. Disconnect the hose from the roof opening panel. Disconnect the hose from the body attachment.
4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

1. Remove the headliner. See «HEADLINER»(ref-221990-S25320297652006022600000) .
2. Remove the drain hose. Release the hose from its locators. Disconnect the hose from the roof opening panel. Disconnect the hose from the body attachment.
3. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

1. Remove the headliner. See «HEADLINER»(ref-221990-S25320297652006022600000) .
2. Remove the roof opening panel module. Disconnect the electrical connector. Remove the pin-type retainer. Remove the roof opening panel module.
3. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

1. Loosen the four roof opening panel bolts.
2. Close the roof opening panel. NOTE: The correct position of the roof opening panel to the roof panel should be 0 to 1.5 mm (0.059 in) above the roof panel at the rear edge and -1.5 mm (-0.059 in) to 0 below the roof panel at the front edge of the panel. NOTE: NOTE: Make sure the roof opening panel is centered in the roof opening.
3. Adjust the roof opening panel.
4. Tighten the roof opening panel bolts.
