Removal and Installation

1. Remove the instrument panel center finish panel. See «INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL»(ref-221990-S11608499902006022600000) .
2. Remove the four screws and the climate control assembly.
3. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

2. Remove the blower motor switch knob.
3. Remove the blower motor switch. Depress the locking tab.
4. To install, reverse the removal procedures.

2. Remove the temperature control switch knob.
3. Disconnect the temperature blend door control cable. Align the locator holes and insert the special tool. Release the locking tabs. Remove the temperature blend door control cable from the blend door shaft.
4. Depress the three tabs and remove the temperature blend door control cable.
5. Remove the temperature control switch. Remove the screw. Depress the tab and rotate the temperature control switch counterclockwise.
6. Rotate the gear to align the locking tab with the notch in the gear before installing.
7. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

1. Remove the instrument panel center finish panel. See «INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL»(ref-221990-S11608499902006022600000) .
2. Remove the illumination bulb(s) by turning a quarter turn counterclockwise and lifting straight up.
3. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. See «BATTERY DISCONNECT»(ref-221834-S42533501902006022600000) .
2. Lower the glove compartment. Press the glove compartment release tabs inward while pulling downward on the glove compartment door.
3. Disconnect the temperature blend door control cable. Align the locator holes and insert the special tool. Release the locking tab. Remove the temperature blend door control cable from the blend door shaft.
4. Remove the instrument cluster finish panel. Remove the two screws. Remove the instrument cluster finish panel and disconnect the electrical connectors.
5. Depress the three tabs and remove the temperature blend door control cable.
6. Rotate the gear to align the locking tab with the notch in the gear before installing.
7. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

1. Remove the vacuum control motor. Disconnect the vacuum line. Remove the two screws. Disconnect the vacuum control motor from the door lever.
2. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

2. Remove the vacuum control motor. Disconnect the vacuum line. Remove the two screws. Disconnect the vacuum control motor from the door lever.

1. Remove the RH A-pillar lower trim.
2. Remove the blower motor. Disconnect the electrical connector. Remove the washer screws. Remove the blower motor and cover, lower the assembly from the housing.
3. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
