FRONT SHOCK ABSORBER AND COIL SPRING DISASSEMBLY/ASSEMBLY

WARNINGRemoving/installing the shock absorber and coil spring is dangerous. The shock absorber and coil spring could fly off and cause serious injury or death, and damage the vehicle.
  1. For 6MT vehicles, perform the following procedures. Disconnect the purge solenoid valve connector wiring harness from the bracket. Remove the bracket from the air intake hose and move the purge solenoid valve component out of the way. (See «PURGE SOLENOID VALVE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [LF]»(ref-430327-S01360201292011101700000) ). Remove the following parts as a single unit. See «INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [LF]»(ref-478572-S27568218632012061100000) . Air intake hose Resonance chamber No. 2 Resonance duct No. 1 Resonance duct No. 2
  2. Remove the front suspension tower bar and plate. (See «FRONT SUSPENSION TOWER BAR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-430328-S00590495132011101700000) ).
  3. Remove the front shock absorber and coil spring. (See «FRONT SHOCK ABSORBER AND COIL SPRING REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-430328-S11086516962011101700000) ).
  4. Remove in the order indicated in the table.
  5. Install in the reverse order of removal.
