1. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK position.
2. Remove the battery cover.
3. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See «BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [LF]»(ref-430294-S35932810402011101700000) .)
4. Remove the console. (See «CONSOLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-430296-S42659527912011101700000) .)
5. Remove the side wall. (See «SIDE WALL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-430296-S07285052982011101700000) .)
6. Remove the console panel. (See «CONSOLE PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-430296-S27872972132011101700000) .)
7. Squeeze the tabs of seat warmer switch in the direction of arrow shown in the illustration, and pull it outward to remove it.
8. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Scheme 3

1. Inspect for resistance and continuity between the seat warmer switch terminals using a tester. If not as specified, replace the seat warmer switch.

1. Remove the seat. (See «SEAT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-430316-S38029062372011101700000) .)
2. Remove the seat cushion trim. (See «SEAT CUSHION TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-430316-S05598128232011101700000) .)
3. While inspecting for continuity between the terminals A and B of the connector, use a dryer to warm the thermostat of the seat warmer unit on seat cushion.
4. Verify that the continuity between the seat warmer terminals is as indicated in illustration. If not as indicated in the table, replace the seat warmer unit.
