Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Remove the meter hood. (See «METER HOOD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(/mazda/mx-5/nb-2001-2005/remont/exteriorinterior-trim/#interior-trim) .)
Remove in the order indicated in the table.
Install in the reverse order of removal.
