- Remove the dashboard under cover (passenger side). (See «DASHBOARD UNDER COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-663022-S31534965712014101600000) .)
- Remove the glove compartment. (See «GLOVE COMPARTMENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-663022-S35953709692014101600000) .)
- Short the check connector terminal A to the ground using a jumper wire.
- Expose the solar radiation sensor to natural sunlight. NOTE: If natural sunlight is not shone on the solar radiation sensor, the climate control unit determines a malfunction and indicates DTC "02, 04".
- Turn the ignition switch to ON position.
- Read DTCs on the information display. Carry out DTC inspection, (present and past failure indication modes) When the system is normal, "00" will be indicated on the display. If any of the diagnostic trouble codes are indicated, carry out troubleshooting according to the code.
- After completion of repairs, erase all diagnostic trouble code(s) from memory. (See «ERASING PAST FAILURE MEMORY»(ref-663068-S22757146362014101600000) .)
- Remove the jumper wire.
