  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Discharge the refrigerant. (See REFRIGERANT CHARGING article.)

  5. Disconnect the front door wiring harness connector (Driver side). (See FRONT DOOR MODULE PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION article.)
  6. Remove the brake switch from the brake pedal with the brake switch connector connected. (See «BRAKE PEDAL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-663013-S34704880312014101600000) article.)
  7. Remove the selector lever component. (See «AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-663030-S38097019132014101600000) article.)
  8. Remove the windshield wiper arm. (See WINDSHIELD WIPER ARM AND BLADE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION article.)
  9. Remove the cowl grille. (See COWL GRILLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION article.)
  10. Remove the windshield wiper motor. (See WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION article.)
  11. Remove the dashboard. (See «DASHBOARD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-663022-S36557827272014101600000) article.)
  12. Remove the rear heat duct fasteners and slide the rear heat duct rearward. (See «REAR HEAT DUCT COMPONENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-663011-S08203967002014101600000) .)
  13. Disconnect the drain hose.
  14. Remove the nuts.
  15. Remove the bracket.
  16. Remove the bolts.
  17. Remove the dashboard bracket.
  18. Remove the hose clips.
  19. Remove the front heater hose No. 3 and front heater hose No. 4. (See «HEATER PIPE AND HOSE COMPONENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-663011-S23213271562014101600000) .)
  20. Remove the front cooler pipe No. 1 bracket installation nut.
  21. Remove the nut.
  22. Remove the front cooler pipe No. 1 and front cooler pipe No. 4. (See «REFRIGERANT LINE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-663011-S25515470512014101600000) .) CAUTION: If moisture or foreign material enters the refrigeration cycle, cooling ability will be lowered and abnormal noise or other malfunction could occur. Always plug open fittings immediately after removing any refrigeration cycle parts.
  23. Remove the nuts.
  24. Remove the front A/C unit. Do not allow compressor oil to spill.
  25. Install in the reverse order of removal. (See «FRONT A/C UNIT INSTALLATION NOTE»(ref-663011-S32960628922014101600000) .)
  26. Perform the refrigerant system performance test.
