1. Fully open the glass panel.
2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
3. Partially peel back the seaming welt.
4. Remove the following parts: Microphone (vehicles with car-navigation system). (See MICROPHONE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION. ) Sunroof seaming welt (vehicles with sunroof only) A-pillar trims (See A-PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION. ) Upper anchor of the front seat belt (See FRONT SEAT BELT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION. ) Front scuff plate (See FRONT SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION. ) Rear scuff plate (See REAR SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION. ) B-pillar lower trims (See B-PILLAR LOWER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION. ) B-pillar upper trims (See B-PILLAR UPPER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION. ) C-pillar trims (See C-PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION. ) D-pillar trims (Sport Wagon) (See D-PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SPORT WAGON]. ) Front and rear map lights (See FRONT MAP LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION. ) (See REAR MAP LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION. ) Cargo compartment light (See CARGO COMPARTMENT LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [5-DOOR, SPORT WAGON]. )
5. Disconnect the auto-dimming mirror connector. (vehicles with auto-dimming mirror only)
6. Remove the sunvisors. (See SUNVISOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION. )
7. Remove the assist handle. (See ASSIST HANDLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION. )
8. REMOVAL/INSTALLATION).
9. Remove the screws.
10. Disengage the hooks. Press the rear end of each hook. After sliding the hooks rearward, press them upward.
11. Remove the deflector.
12. Install in the reverse order of removal.

1. Fully close the glass panel.
2. Fully open the sunshade.
3. Remove the screws and then remove the glass panel.
4. Peel the weatherstrip off the glass panel.
5. Install in the reverse order of removal.
6. Adjust the glass panel. (See GLASS PANEL ADJUSTMENT ).

1. Fully close the glass panel.
2. Measure the gap and height between the glass panel and body.
3. If not as specified, loosen the glass panel installation screws and reposition the glass panel. Clearance a: 2.0-2.2 mm {0.079-0.086 in} b: 0 mm {0 in}
4. Tighten the installation screws.
5. Insert a credit card between the weatherstrip and the body of the vehicle. Verify that the sunroof is shut tightly (there is resistance when the credit card is moved). If the sunroof is not shut tightly, readjust by performing Steps 3 and 4 .

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Partially peel back the seaming welt.
3. Remove the following parts: Microphone (vehicles with car-navigation system). (See MICROPHONE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION. ) Sunroof seaming welt (vehicles with sunroof only) A-pillar trims (See A-PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION. ) Upper anchor of the front seat belt (See FRONT SEAT BELT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION. ) Front scuff plate (See FRONT SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION. ) Rear scuff plate (See REAR SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION. ) B-pillar lower trims (See B-PILLAR LOWER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION. ) B-pillar upper trims (See B-PILLAR UPPER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION. ) C-pillar trims (See C-PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION. ) D-pillar trims (Sport Wagon) (See D-PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SPORT WAGON]. ) Front and rear map lights (See FRONT MAP LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION. ) (See REAR MAP LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION. ) Cargo compartment light (See CARGO COMPARTMENT LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [5-DOOR, SPORT WAGON]. )
4. Disconnect the auto-dimming mirror connector, (vehicles with auto-dimming mirror only)
5. Remove the sunvisors. (See SUNVISOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION. )
6. Remove the assist handle. (See ASSIST HANDLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION. )
7. Remove the headliner. (See HEADLINER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION. )
8. Disconnect the front drain hose from the sunroof frame.
9. Remove the front drain hose from the clips.
10. Pull the front drain hose into the room side.
11. Remove the front drain hose.
