1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the glove compartment.
3. Remove the duct. (See «A/C UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION».)
4. Remove in the order indicated in the table. AIR INTAKE ACTUATOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION 1 Intake Air Actuator Connector 2 Intake Air Actuator
5. Install in the reverse order of removal.

1. Connect battery positive voltage to terminal G or H and ground to terminal H or G of the air intake actuator.
2. Verify that the air intake actuator operates (Scheme 94) If not as specified, replace the air intake actuator.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the glove compartment.
3. Remove in the order indicated in the table. AIR MIX ACTUATOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION 1 Air Mix Actuator Connector 2 Air Mix Actuator
4. Install in the reverse order of removal.

1. Verify that the resistance between the terminals of the air mix actuator is (Scheme 96) If not as specified, replace the air mix actuator.
