6. Remove the screw. NOTE: The screw cannot be removed because of the stopper. (Scheme 8): Identifying Front Outer Handle Screw
7. Press down the rod holder in the direction of arrow (1) and remove the front outer handle bracket in the direction of arrow (2). (Scheme 9): Pressing Down Rod Holder
8. Install in the reverse order of removal.

While maintaining the condition in procedure 1, insert a tape-wrapped flathead screwdriver as shown in the figure, press the ends of the tabs with the screwdriver in the direction of the arrows (1), pull the hood release lever in the direction of arrow (2), and then disconnect the lower panel. 4. Move the rod of the door key cylinder switch in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure, and verify that the continuity is as indicated in the table. (Scheme 59): Door Key Cylinder Switch Circuit And Terminal Identification If not as indicated in the table, replace the front door latch and lock actuator. 1. To access the glass installation bolt, position the front door glass so that the distance from the top of the front door glass to the upper part of the front beltline molding is approx. 80 mm {3.1 in}. (Scheme 61): Identifying Front Door Glass Distance
2. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See «BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.0, MZR 2.5]»(ref-579330-S31782573982013100700000).) 3. Remove the following parts: Inner garnish (See «INNER GARNISH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-579335-S26275577612013100700000).) Front door trim (See «FRONT DOOR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-579335-S20706949142013100700000).) Front inner handle (See «INNER HANDLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-579383-S01306976542013100700000).) Front door speaker (See «FRONT DOOR SPEAKER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-579336-S02963356692013100700000).) Front door glass (See «FRONT DOOR GLASS REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-579414-S25796711262013100700000).) 4. Remove the service hole cover (with front door key cylinder). (Scheme 62): Service Hole Cover
5. Remove the tab, then remove the door lock-link bracket (with front door key cylinder). (Scheme 63): Door Lock-Link Bracket And Nut With Torque Specification
6. Disconnect the key rod from the front outer handle bracket. (Scheme 64): Key Rod And Front Outer Handle Bracket
7. Remove the screw. (Scheme 65): Front Outer Handle Bracket Screw And Clip With Torque Specification
8. Detach the clips.
9. Press down the rod holder of the front door latch and lock actuator in the direction of the arrow. (Scheme 66): Pressing Down Rod Holder Of Front Door Latch And Lock Actuator
10. Maintaining the condition in Step 9, remove the front door latch and lock actuator. see scheme 67: Front Door Latch And Lock Actuator
11. Install in the reverse order of removal.
