| WARNING | Make sure the front passenger seat is correctly installed and fastened to the vehicle. Do not force the alignment to the floorpan mounting holes. If the seat does not align to the floorpan mounting holes, repair the seat or floorpan as needed. Failure to follow these instruction may increase the risk of personal injury or death in a crash. |
| WARNING | Correct alignment of the occupant classification sensor rails to the seat and floorpan is critical for correct occupant classification sensor system operation. If the vehicle is involved in a collision in which the front passenger seat-to-floorpan mounting area has been damaged, inspect the mounting area for deformation. Make sure the front passenger seat-to-floorpan mounting area is restored to its original condition. Failure to follow these instructions may increase the risk of personal injury or death in a crash. |
