TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

The 5.4L (4V) is a V-8 engine with the following features

  1. Dual overhead camshafts
  2. Four valves per cylinder
  3. Sequential multiport fuel injection (SFI)
  4. An aluminum intake manifold
  5. Aluminum cylinder heads
  6. A cast iron, 90-degree V-cylinder block
  7. Individually chain-driven camshafts with a hydraulic timing chain tensioner on each timing chain
  8. The electronic ignition system with eight ignition coils
