DOOR GLASS
- Remove door trim panel and watershield. See «DOOR TRIM PANEL»(ref-140361-S12806070922002110600000).
- Loosen run and bracket assembly screw and washer at the top and nut and washer at the bottom. (Scheme 8)
- Loosen the stabilizer at the door belt.
- Lower the glass to approximately 51mm (2 inches) from the full-up position. Set the glass rearward until it bottoms against the run assembly within the rear door frame.
- Tighten the run and bracket assembly bottom nut and washer. Tighten the top screw and washer. Tighten to specification.
- Position the door glass stabilizer to the glass and tighten the screw to 60-120 INCH lbs. (7-14 N.m).
- Cycle the door glass to ensure proper operation.
STABILIZER
The stabilizer at the rear of the door is used to support the glass at the belt. With glass in the full-up position, the stabilizer is set firmly against the glass and tightened. (Scheme 8)

BOTH WINDOWS INOPERATIVE
- Inoperative Circuit Breaker Check circuit breaker No. 14 for failure or overload.
- Open In Power Supply Wire Check for voltage at Red/Light Blue wires for each window switch. See «WIRING DIAGRAMS»(ref-140361-S37003111972002052100000) .
- Open In Ground Check Black wire for continuity to ground. See «WIRING DIAGRAMS»(ref-140361-S37003111972002052100000) .
ONE POWER WINDOW INOPERATIVE
- Inoperative Window Switch Check window switch for proper operation. See «POWER WINDOW SWITCH»(ref-140361-S40408391882002052200000) under COMPONENT TESTS.
- Inoperative Window Motor Check Motor for proper operation. See «POWER WINDOW MOTOR»(ref-140361-S20492305872002052200000) under COMPONENT TESTS. Check continuity between power window switch and ground (Black wire). Check continuity of Red/Light Blue wire between power window switch and circuit breaker No. 14. See «WIRING DIAGRAMS»(ref-140361-S37003111972002052100000) .
POWER WINDOW MOTOR
Note. To test the current draw of a power window motor, remove the motor and drive assembly from the vehicle. See POWER WINDOW MOTOR under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
- Connect an external power source (power-pac or a fully charged battery) to the motor with an ammeter such as Rotunda Digital Volt-Ohmmeter (007-00001), or equivalent, in series. (Scheme 9)
- Operate the motor and observe the current draw. The current draw for the no-load test should not exceed 5 amps and should not fluctuate. Reversal of the motor wire connections will reverse the direction of motor rotation. Replace the motor if the current draw exceeds 5 amps at 12.8 volts.

POWER WINDOW SWITCH
Note. To test power window switch, remove from vehicle. See POWER WINDOW SWITCH under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
- Use a self-powered test lamp or an ohmmeter such as Rotunda Digital Volt-Ohmmeter (007-00001), or equivalent, to test the power window switch.
- With the switch in the NEUTRAL position, there should be continuity between terminals No. 1 and 3, 2 and 5, and 4 and 6. (Scheme 10)
- With the switch toggle pushed downward, there should be continuity between terminals No. 2, 4 and 5, and 1 and 3. Terminal 6 should be disconnected from any other terminal.
- With the toggle switch pushed upward, there should be continuity between terminals No. 2, 3 and 5, and 4 and 6. Terminal No. 1 should be disconnected from any other terminal.
- If the switch does not test as stated, replace the switch.
