INSTALLATION [03/2012 - 07/2012]

  1. INSTALL CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY Apply a light coat of engine oil to 4 new O-rings and install them to the 4 camshaft timing oil control valve assemblies. TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION *1 O-ring Install the 4 oil control valves with the 4 bolts. Torque: 10 N*m (102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf) NOTE: Make sure that each O-ring is not cracked or does not jump out of position during installation. Connect the 4 oil control valve connectors. Install the bolt and connect the wire harness clamp to install the engine wire. Torque: 14 N*m (138 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf)
  2. INSTALL INTAKE AIR SURGE TANK ASSEMBLY . Refer to «INSTALLATION [03/2012 - 07/2012] - Step 6»(ref-602713-S07245508312014030500000)
  3. INSTALL AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY See step 2
  4. INSTALL NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET . Refer to «INSTALLATION [03/2012 - 07/2012] - Step 69»(ref-602689-S39902766612014030500000)
  5. INSTALL NO. 2 AIR CLEANER INLET . Refer to «INSTALLATION [03/2012 - 07/2012] - Step 70»(ref-602689-S39902766612014030500000)
  6. INSTALL BATTERY . Refer to «INSTALLATION [03/2012 - 07/2012] - Step 68»(ref-602689-S39902766612014030500000)
  7. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL NOTE: When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected. Refer to «INITIALIZATION [03/2012 - 07/2012]»(ref-602551-S24591545042014030500000) .
  8. ADD ENGINE COOLANT . Refer to «REPLACEMENT [03/2012 - 07/2012] - Step 7»(ref-602691-S30560292782014030500000)
  9. INSPECT FOR ENGINE COOLANT LEAK . Refer to «ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION [03/2012 - ] - Step 1»(ref-602725-S34080696782014030500000)
  10. INSPECT FOR OIL LEAK Start the engine, and check that there are no oil leaks.
  11. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY . Refer to «INSTALLATION [03/2012 - 07/2012] - Step 108»(ref-602689-S39902766612014030500000)
  12. INSTALL OUTER COWL TOP PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY . Refer to «INSTALLATION [03/2012 - 07/2012] - Step 12»(ref-602687-S15057640362014030500000)
  13. INSTALL WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR AND LINK ASSEMBLY Install the windshield wiper motor and link assembly. Refer to «INSTALLATION [03/2012 - ]»(ref-602723-S36271851472014030500000) .
