1. PRECAUTION NOTE: After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work. Refer to «PRECAUTION [03/2012 - ]»(ref-602551-S11461672722014030500000) .
2. REMOVE RADIATOR ASSEMBLY WITH FAN SHROUD AND FAN MOTOR HINT: Refer to «REMOVAL [03/2012 - 07/2012]»(ref-602691-S18313502082014030500000) .
3. REMOVE V-RIBBED BELT HINT: Refer to «REMOVAL [03/2012 - 07/2012]»(ref-602689-S17268304812014030500000) .
4. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY . Refer to «REMOVAL [03/2012 - 07/2012] - Step 33»(ref-602689-S14087581402014030500000)
5. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL WARNING: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system. Refer to «PRECAUTION [03/2012 - 07/2012]»(ref-602724-S22259792752014030500000) . NOTE: When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected. Refer to «INITIALIZATION [03/2012 - 07/2012]»(ref-602551-S24591545042014030500000) .
6. REMOVE GENERATOR ASSEMBLY Turn back the terminal cap. Remove the nut and disconnect the wire harness from terminal B. Disconnect the generator connector from the generator assembly. Disconnect the connector from the compressor and magnetic clutch. Disconnect the wire harness clamps. Remove the bolt, nut and generator bracket from the cylinder block. Disconnect the wire harness clamp and remove the generator bracket. Remove the 2 bolts. Remove the bolt and the wire harness clamp stay.
