Since this DTC is provided for engineering purpose, it may be detected when no actual failure exists. E4 (1) Multiple Frame Abort Multiple frame transmission is aborted. - Check if there is any scratch and breaking of a wire for glass antenna and defogger pattern. (Visual check) Yes : Repair damaged component. NO : Go to next step.
- Is contact of radio plug jack OK? No : Take measures for contact. YES : Go to next step.
- Is antenna terminal on glass surface in contact with defogger terminal? No : Take measures for contact. YES : Go to next step.
- Is continuity of antenna cord OK? No : Replace antenna cord. YES : Go to next step.
- Check grounding of antenna, antenna cord and noise filter. NG : Grounding failure. OK : Go to next step.
- Does condition get better by replacing antenna cord? Yes : Replace antenna cord. No : Replace rear window glass.
- Is there a foreign object inside tape player? Yes : Remove foreign object. NO : Go to next step.
- Is auto search function of radio operating normally? NG : Radio and player is faulty. OK : Go to next step.
- Check cassette tape for deformation or peeled label. NG : Replace cassette tape. OK : Go to next step.
- Is cassette tape slack? NG : Remove slack before using. OK : Replace radio and player.
- Check RADIO NO. 1, P-ACC and P-IG fuse. NG : Replace fuse. OK : Go to next step.
