ANTENNA MOTOR CIRCUIT

Disconnect the motor antenna connector from the body wire harness. Measure voltage between ground and appropriate terminal at antenna motor harness connector. (Scheme 3)and (Scheme 4). If circuit is not as specified, inspect radio or wire harness. If circuit is as specified, replace motor antenna.

ANTENNA MOTOR

1. Install the antenna nut.
2. Disconnect the connector from the motor antenna control relay.
3. Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 2 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 5 on the wire harness side connector.
4. Check that the motor turns (moves upward).
5. Reverse the polarity, check that the motor turns the opposite way (moves downward). When the motor is normal, lower the antenna to the lower most position. If operation is not as specified, replace the antenna motor assembly.
