PROCEDURE

  1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (APPLICABLE LOCATION) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3. Turn the engine switch on (IG). Turn the Techstream on. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / (desired system) / Active Test. HINT: Perform the Active Test for the power window regulator motor assembly that has DTC B2311 stored in its ECU. Perform the Active Test according to the display on the Techstream. WARNING: Be careful to avoid injuries as this test causes vehicle parts to move. During the Active Test, the jam protection function will not operate.   2. PERFORM INITIALIZATION (APPLICABLE LOCATION) Initialize the power window regulator motor assembly. Refer to «INITIALIZATION»(ref-387457-S13090912472011022400000) . HINT: Initialize the power window regulator motor assembly that has DTC B2311 stored in its ECU. NEXT: Go to next step
  3. CHECK POWER WINDOW CONTROL SYSTEM (APPLICABLE LOCATION) Check that the power window operates normally by opening and closing the window. Refer to «OPERATION CHECK»(ref-387457-S01402700302011022400000) . HINT: Check the power window operation of the window where DTC B2311 has been stored. OK Each power window operates normally.   4. CHECK WHETHER PARTS HAVE BEEN INSTALLED CORRECTLY Check that the power window components are installed correctly. OK Power window components are installed correctly. HINT: Check the installation condition of the components for the window where DTC B2311 has been stored. When the power window components are installed correctly, the problem has occurred because the battery is disconnected while the engine switch is on (IG), the power window components are installed improperly or the motor is overheated. NG --> INSTALL PARTS CORRECTLY OK --> END
  5. REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY (for Driver Side). Refer to «REMOVAL»(ref-387465-S10157975862011022400000)
  6. REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY (for Front Passenger Side). Refer to «REMOVAL»(ref-387465-S10157975862011022400000)
  7. REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY (for Rear LH Side). Refer to «REMOVAL»(ref-387465-S10157975862011022400000)
  8. REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY (for Rear RH Side). Refer to «REMOVAL»(ref-387465-S10157975862011022400000)
  1. PERFORM INITIALIZATION (APPLICABLE LOCATION) Turn the engine switch on (IG). Initialize the power window regulator motor assembly. Refer to «INITIALIZATION»(ref-387457-S13090912472011022400000) . HINT: Initialize the power window regulator motor assembly that has DTC B2313 stored in its ECU. NEXT: Go to next step
  2. CHECK DTC OUTPUT Turn the engine switch off. Wait for at least 10 seconds, and then turn the engine switch on (IG). Check for DTCs. Refer to «DTC CHECK / CLEAR»(ref-387457-S11667955312011022400000) . HINT: Check for DTCs for the power window regulator motor assembly that has DTC B2313 stored in its ECU. OK B2313 output does not reoccur.   3. REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY (for Driver Side). Refer to «REMOVAL»(ref-387465-S10157975862011022400000)
  4. REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY (for Front Passenger Side). Refer to «REMOVAL»(ref-387465-S10157975862011022400000)
  5. REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY (for Rear LH Side). Refer to «REMOVAL»(ref-387465-S10157975862011022400000)
  6. REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY (for Rear RH Side). Refer to «REMOVAL»(ref-387465-S10157975862011022400000)
  1. CHECK DTC OUTPUT Clear the DTCs. Refer to «DTC CHECK / CLEAR»(ref-387457-S11667955312011022400000) . Recheck for DTCs.   2. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (Master Switch) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3. Turn the engine switch on (IG). Turn the Techstream on. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Master switch / Data List. Read the Data List according to the display on the Techstream. MASTER SWITCH (MULTIPLEX NETWORK MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY) Tester Display Measurement Item/Range Normal Condition Diagnostic Note D Door P/W Auto SW Driver side power window auto up/down switch signal / ON or OFF ON: Driver side power window auto switch operated OFF: Driver side power window auto switch not operated - OK On the Techstream screen, ON or OFF is displayed accordingly. NG --> See step 6 OK: Go to next step
  3. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (D-Door Motor) Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / D-Door Motor / Data List. Read the Data List according to the display on the Techstream. D-DOOR MOTOR (POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY (FOR DRIVER SIDE)) Tester Display Measurement Item/Range Normal Condition Diagnostic Note D Door P/W Auto SW Driver side power window auto up/down switch signal / ON or OFF ON: Driver side power window auto switch operated OFF: Driver side power window auto switch not operated - OK On the Techstream screen, ON or OFF is displayed accordingly. NG --> See step 4 OK --> See step 7
  4. REPLACE MULTIPLEX NETWORK MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY Replace the multiplex network master switch assembly. Refer to «DISASSEMBLY - Step 2»(ref-387450-S00524585432011022400000) . NEXT: Go to next step
  5. CHECK POWER WINDOW CONTROL SYSTEM (AUTO UP/DOWN FUNCTION) Check that the driver side door power window moves when the auto up/down function of the multiplex network master switch assembly is operated. Refer to «OPERATION CHECK»(ref-387457-S01402700302011022400000) . OK Driver side auto up/down function is normal. NG --> See step 7 OK --> END (MULTIPLEX NETWORK MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY IS DEFECTIVE)
  6. REPLACE MULTIPLEX NETWORK MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY. Refer to «DISASSEMBLY - Step 2»(ref-387450-S00524585432011022400000)
  7. REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY (for Driver Side). Refer to «REMOVAL»(ref-387465-S10157975862011022400000)
  8. GO TO DTC (B2311). Refer to «DTC B2311: Power Window Motor Malfunction»(ref-387476-S06272341832011022400000)
  9. GO TO DTC (B2312). Refer to «DTC B2312: Power Window Switch Malfunction»(ref-387476-S20743779892011022400000)
  10. GO TO DTC (B2313). Refer to «DTC B2313: Glass Position Initialization Incomplete»(ref-387476-S30985322432011022400000)
  1. CHECK BASIC FUNCTION (WIRELESS AND POWER DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM) Check that the wireless transmitter. Refer to «OPERATION CHECK»(ref-387460-S06764477082011022400000) and driver door key cylinder (key linked switch). Refer to «OPERATION CHECK»(ref-387459-S34224899422011022400000) lock and unlock all the doors normally. Result Result Proceed to Transmitter and driver door key cylinder operate normally A Transmitter does not operate normally B Driver door key cylinder does not operate normally C C --> See step 5 B --> See step 4 A: Go to next step
  2. CHECK MANUAL UP / DOWN FUNCTION Check that the manual up/down function using the multiplex network master switch assembly and power window regulator switch assembly can operate all the power windows. Refer to «OPERATION CHECK»(ref-387457-S01402700302011022400000) . OK Manual up/down function is normal. NG --> See step 6 OK: Go to next step
  3. CHECK REMOTE UP / DOWN FUNCTION Check that the remote up/down function using the multiplex network master switch assembly operates the power windows. Refer to «OPERATION CHECK»(ref-387457-S01402700302011022400000) . OK Remote up/down function is normal. NG --> See step 6 OK --> See step 7
  4. GO TO WIRELESS DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM (Proceed to Problem Symptoms Table). Refer to «PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE»(ref-387460-S16268079412011022400000)
  5. GO TO POWER DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM (Proceed to Problem Symptoms Table). Refer to «PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE»(ref-387459-S31143579002011022400000)
  6. GO TO OTHER PROBLEM (Proceed to Problem Symptoms Table). Refer to «PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE»(ref-387457-S09618665492011022400000)
  7. REPLACE MULTIPLEX NETWORK MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY. Refer to «DISASSEMBLY - Step 2»(ref-387450-S00524585432011022400000)
  1. CHECK OPERATION FUNCTION AFTER ENGINE SWITCH IS TURNED OFF Check the power window operation function after the engine switch is turned off. Result Result Proceed to When power window can still be operated even after opening driver door or front passenger door within approximately 45 seconds of engine switch being turned off A When power window can still be operated even after approximately 45 seconds have elapsed after engine switch is turned off B B --> REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU RH (COWL SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK RH) A: Go to next step
  2. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (Main Body) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3. Turn the engine switch on (IG). Turn the Techstream on. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Main Body / Data List. Read the Data List according to the display on the Techstream. MAIN BODY (MAIN BODY ECU RH (COWL SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK RH)) Tester Display Measurement Item/Range Normal Condition Diagnostic Note D Door Courtesy SW Driver side door courtesy switch signal / ON or OFF ON: Driver side door open OFF: Driver side door closed - P Door Courtesy SW Front passenger side door courtesy switch signal / ON or OFF ON: Front passenger side door open OFF: Front passenger side door closed - OK On the Techstream screen, ON or OFF is displayed accordingly.   3. GO TO LIGHTING SYSTEM (Proceed to Door Courtesy Light Switch Circuit). Refer to «Door Courtesy Switch Circuit»(ref-387447-S40869480932011022400000)

  2. CHECK POWER WINDOW CONTROL SYSTEM (AUTO UP/DOWN FUNCTION (APPLICABLE LOCATION)) Check that all door power windows move when the auto up/down function of the multiplex network master switch assembly and power window regulator switch assembies (for front passenger, rear LH and rear RH sides) is operated. Refer to «OPERATION CHECK»(ref-387457-S01402700302011022400000) . OK Auto up/down function is normal (applicable location). NG --> See step 3 OK --> END (PROBLEM DUE TO INITIALIZATION FAILURE)
  3. CHECK WINDOW GLASS SLIDING MOVEMENT (APPLICABLE LOCATION) Remove the window regulator. Install the window glass onto the door glass run. Check if the door window regulator operates smoothly. Check that the window glass slides smoothly when sliding it up by hand. OK Door window glass slides smoothly. Result Result Proceed to NG A OK (Driver side power window) B OK (Front passenger side power window) C OK (Rear LH side power window) D OK (Rear RH side power window) E HINT: Ensure the following: The window glass fits with the glass run without improper contact or deformation. Foreign objects are not caught in the glass run. WARNING: Perform initialization again.   6. REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY (for Rear LH Side). Refer to «REMOVAL»(ref-387465-S10157975862011022400000)
  7. REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY (for Rear RH Side). Refer to «REMOVAL»(ref-387465-S10157975862011022400000)
