1. REMOVE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY WITH FRONT DOOR ARMREST BASE PANEL except Wood Panel: Using a molding remover, disengage the 4 claws and 2 clips. Disconnect the connector and remove the power window regulator switch assembly with front door armrest base panel. for Wood Panel: Using a molding remover, disengage the 3 claws and 2 clips. Disconnect the connector and remove the power window regulator switch assembly with front door armrest base panel.
2. REMOVE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY Disengage the 2 claws and remove the power window regulator switch assembly.

1. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY Check the switch function. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below. Standard Resistance Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition 2 (U) - 5 (E) Auto up or up position Below 1 ohms 4 (A) - 5 (E) Auto up or auto down position Below 1 ohms 10 (D) - 5 (E) Auto down or down position Below 1 ohms 2 (U) - 5 (E) Free 10 kohms or higher 4 (A) - 5 (E) Free 10 kohms or higher 10 (D) - 5 (E) Free 10 kohms or higher If the result is not as specified, replace the power window regulator switch assembly (for front passenger side). 1. INSTALL POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY Engage the 2 claws and install the power window regulator switch assembly.
2. INSTALL POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY WITH FRONT DOOR ARMREST BASE PANEL except Wood Panel: Connect the connector. Engage the 4 claws and 2 clips and install the power window regulator switch assembly with front door armrest base panel. for Wood Panel: Connect the connector. Engage the 3 claws and 2 clips and install the power window regulator switch assembly with front door armrest base panel.

1. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH FRONT Apply positive (+) battery voltage to connector terminal 2 (B). NOTE: Do not apply positive (+) battery voltage to any terminals other than terminal 2 (B) to avoid damaging the pulse sensor inside the motor. Apply negative (-) battery voltage to connector terminals 1 (E) and 7 (DWN1) or 10 (UP1). Check that the motor gear rotates smoothly as follows: OK Measurement Condition Specified Condition Connect the positive (+) battery cable to terminal 2 (B), and connect the negative (-) battery cable to terminal 1 (E), and keep them connected for 3 seconds or more. With terminals 2 (B) and 1 (E) connected, connect the negative (-) battery cable to terminal 10 (UP1). Disconnect and reconnect the negative (-) battery cable to terminal 10 (UP1) within 1 second. Motor gear rotates clockwise (Up) Connect the positive (+) battery cable to terminal 2 (B), and connect the negative (-) battery cable to terminal 1 (E), and keep them connected for 3 seconds or more. With terminals 2 (B) and 1 (E) connected, connect the negative (-) battery cable to terminal 7 (DWN1). Disconnect and reconnect the negative (-) battery cable to terminal 7 (DWN1) within 1 second. Motor gear rotates counterclockwise (Down) If the result is not as specified, replace the power window regulator motor assembly LH front. WARNING: Reset the power window regulator motor (initialize the pulse sensor) after installing the power window regulator motor and regulator assembly onto the door.
2. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY RH FRONT Apply positive (+) battery voltage to connector terminal 2 (B). NOTE: Do not apply positive (+) battery voltage to any terminals other than terminal 2 (B) to avoid damaging the pulse sensor inside the motor. Apply negative (-) battery voltage to connector terminals 1 (E) and 7 (DWN1) or 10 (UP1). 3. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH REAR Apply positive (+) battery voltage to connector terminal 2 (B). NOTE: Do not apply positive (+) battery voltage to any terminals other than terminal 2 (B) to avoid damaging the pulse sensor inside the motor. Apply negative (-) battery voltage to connector terminals 1 (E) and 7 (DWN1) or 10 (UP1).
